Privacy policy

Your IP address

Every website receives your IP address when you visit. That's how the internet works, and it's what lets this site show your address back to you.

What we keep

We keep a simple log of each visit: your IP address, its approximate location, your browser type and the time. We use it to keep the site running, stop abuse and see how many people use it. We keep it for [12 months], then delete it.

We don't sell your data

We never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Other services

To find your addresses, your browser contacts ipify.org, which sees your IP address. We work out your location on our own server using a downloaded database, so your address isn't sent anywhere else for that.

This site shows ads from Google. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
